YongRang changes
We have some important updates regarding the mage item YongRang. After closely monitoring its performance and gathering feedback, we've identified a critical balance issue that needed attention.
Current Behavior
YongRang's spell proc completely removes the aether (cooldown) of affected spells.
As a result, all spells on cooldown could be instantly cast again whenever the item procs, leading to unexpected gameplay loops and overpowering certain builds.
What's Changing
Instead of completely removing the aether, YongRang will now reduce aether by 45% of the remaining cooldown time each time the item's spell effect triggers.
Higher-ranked versions of YongRang will:
Have a greater % reduction of aether.
Have a higher chance for the spell proc to occur.
Why These Changes?
Completely resetting cooldowns led to imbalanced gameplay, with certain mages chaining powerful spells without any meaningful downtime.
Reducing the cooldown by a percentage instead allows strategic plays without making the item excessively dominant.
Scaling the reduction and proc chance with item rank ensures progressive power growth while keeping it fair and rewarding.
We believe these changes will make YongRang more balanced, while still feeling exciting and impactful in your battles.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback!
