We have updated how the item protection works from Equipment Slot based into individual item protection. So any protected item of your choice won't get penalty when you are death on penalty zone, the updated protection is works for all equippable item, include the break on death and enchanted item :D

The Item Protection on F1 Menu is updated as well, if you have the last equipment slot protection active then you can claim it back into item protection scroll from "Claim Equipment Protection" option. You can also revert the individual item protection at some cost of gold just in case you select wrong item to protect.
